Thanks.  Since I don't have 1.8d yet, I believe the passive probing isn't
available to me.  I just started active probing a few minutes ago (in that
I changed the headers....it'll get implemented now instead of the normal
renewal notices that have been so troublesome to so many dumb members of my
lists....even the techie ones who can't figure out to send it back as
directed to LISTSERV and not to LISTNAME)

And since we had some discussion about sendmail versions, this is with
Sendmail 8.7 on an AIX box, so trust there'll be no problems there.
