Since lsv_amin categorically did not change between releases (lsv_amin.c
is from 1995 and lsv_amin.h is from 1994), I have no idea why you would
be having this problem unless it's due to some difference between the
precompiled version and a version recompiled from scratch.  It will not
hurt anything to continue to use the lsv_amin you had from 1.8c as it
is compiled from identical code.

If you were using the precompiled lsv_amin that shipped with 1.8d you
could try recompiling it from scratch of course, or vice versa.
