Taken to the extreme we could even call it "education" and the output
of the process would be an "educated user" who would have usage habits
that made them largely immune to all virii, even future ones. The problem
is raising the percentage of Internet users who can be "educated".
p.s: Once more, I'm thinking of AOL because AOL is *good* enough to add
X-Apparently-From fields to the outbound Klez viruses that apparently
ID the infected sender (as far as I can tell). This allows me to
send them a FAQ which, so far, over 90% either ignore or respond to
by blaming me. Two or 3 percent actually seem to benefit and respond
positively.
