Under what circumstances would LISTSERV not acknowledge, in any way, a
PUT command?  I am sending the PUT via mail from an Internet site.  I
can GET the FILELIST, either as a user or an owner, and can see that the
very first PUT I sent was done (I also received notice back from the
LISTSERV when it was done).
  The LISTSERV is at 1.7c.
