OK, we have spent the whole day trying to figure out what the heck
is going on with our email.  My earlier post was screwy...Everyone
has the .BITNET.  So we started making a list of all the sites we
received error mail from....There were DOZENS...But then we noticed
that some of the sites sending us erroneous mail were ALSO sending
us good mail.  We shut down our MAILER and our LISTSERV and waited.
 
When we looked at what was coming to which reader, what we saw was that
everything that went to LISTSERV had type MAILDIST and had multiple
recipients.  Everything that went to MAILER had type MAIL, and was
delivered normally...all the MAILDIST mail ended up bouncing to the
POSTMAST id.
 
What do we need to do to fix this?  Please mail direct as all my
mail from this list is bouncing away to the POSTMAST id.
