Have you in fact checked that the message didn't go out?  Our Listserv box
can usually get the message, process it, and get 95% of the copies
delivered to recipients in 30-45 seconds after the user hits 'send'.

Train your users that 'send' is NOT recoverable. ;)

By this point, Listserv has certainly processed it.  Look in /var/spool/mqueue
or wherever your Sendmail/LSMTP/whatever stores the outbound mail.
