Funny you should mention notebooks; just this morning I'm trying to find
a LSTSRV-L notebook that would recap the mayhem with CARD MODULE (we
had a crash because LSVSUBSC had come in CARD format by itself and we
had merely received it, not card loaded it.  In the process, we found
two versions of CARD MODULE with the same lrecl but differing numbers
of records.).  It seems the LISTSERV I use for LSTSRV-L has seperate
notebooks; do I want to wade through all that?  Two peers have
monthly notebooks; that's probably adequate.  None of them have
weekly notebooks (that I've seen) which is what I would have preferred.
 
In a perfect world (no, this isn't a request for action, Eric) the
peers would keep different intervals of notebooks (one single, one
monthly, one weekly, one daily, etc) and if I asked my local LISTSERV
for an interval it didn't keep, it would try to find a LISTSERV with
the proper interval.
 
In the meantime, I have to convince a peer to let me have the
monthly notebook...
