Hmm...
Whatever the temporary problem is, it is disabling the delivery of messages.
Our email guy thinks that it might be timing out due to slow connection.
There are only 77 people in this list.
Any ideas ?

It means that LISTSERV received a "soft" bounce which indicated a
temporary problem.  LISTSERV generally takes no action when it
receives such a bounce (unless automatic processing of bounces is
disabled for the mailing list).
