the file is still being maintained, however there were absolutly no updates
since begin of june (at least i haven't received anything from the bitnet-part
maintainer).

p.s.: maybe i forgot to tell you... in the past i also have stored
      bitearn.nodes and other related files on the ftp.surfnet.nl machine.
      this service has been stopped.
