Besides the other advice you received, it may be that your mail client does not display the mail that you sent to yourself, even though it was received by the mail system.  I believe previous discussions centered around Gmail and that 'feature.'

Also (and this may have been addressed), owners (who are NOT subscribed to the list) do NOT receive list mail even though the list's default-optoins are REPRO.
