Message Unauthorized origin

We have begun getting the message "Unauthorized origin ..." for mail
being sent to owner-[listname], etc.  Anyone know where I should
start looking to see what has changed or where to fix this problem?
A sample of the messages in the console log is below.
 
26 Mar 1996 13:07:13 Processing file 6997 from MAILER@UCBCMSA
26 Mar 1996 13:07:13 From [log in to unmask]: X-ADMMAIL OWNER-BACKUP-L ...
26 Mar 1996 13:07:13 Unauthorized origin - ignored.
