I object to this characterisation of what I said; this boils two
e-mail messages down into a few words that are not at all indicative
of the response you got, Moshe.  I said that there had been few if
any requests; that the implementation would likely be non-trivial; and
that my recollection was that it had been stated in the past that this
was not an option.  As a result of all this it was not a planned
addition to the software.  I don't recall using the adjective
"needless" anywhere, nor did I ever say no one would ever need or
want such a feature, and a quick look back at our conversation
supports me in that recollection.  My response to you was based
solely on the ratio of investment to add the feature vs. return in
terms of sales due to it, and I wasn't sanguine about what I saw.

My memory may be going but I can remember <that> much :)

This being said, I will be interested in the survey results.
