It's a  problem with LISTSERV which  I would like to  understand. Now, if
the list  options were  set in a  less silly  way, ie if  I could  send a
database job  to compare  the contents  of the  notebooks of  the various
peers without having  to signup to all  of them, which I can't  do in any
case, maybe  I could make  some progress on  the problem. In  some future
release LISTSERV  will have  to complain  daily to  the list  owner about
inconsistent options.
