I am new to Listserv and would like to know how to easily migrate my lists
from one server to another. Both servers are running the same version of
Listserve (1.8d) and are on the same platform (Windows). I am taking one
server out of production and would therefore like to move all the lists to
the new server. I tried copying all the list files from the old server to
the new server (using the Windows copy function) however when I try to send
emails to the lists I can't seem to get it to the new server. Does the new
server have to have the same name as the old server ? Also, any replies I
receive from the lists from the new server still show the old server's name
i.e. Email received from BLOOPERS@OLDSERVER even though the message was
posted to [log in to unmask]
Please advise.
