Both apply to Revised LISTSERV -- a product of LSOFT, Inc.

SRV is meant for software installers and operation of the software

OWN is for list owners: those kind folks who maintain the lists
and deal with subscription, problem-email/users, helping with
searching archives (if there are notebooks being maintained).

>I find an address for LSTOWN-L?

Same place: bitnet SEARN, Internet searn.sunet.se. Notebook archives
available for fetching/searching.
