The biggest problem here is that there are some 500 sites running the
Eric Thomas Listserv product alone, countless others running MajorDomo,
or ListProc, or other packages, and an unknown number of Unix machines
running Sendmail aliases and/or locally crafted software.
 
There are 2,500,000+ nodes on the Internet.  Potentially, any one of them
can be doing some form of list management....
 
Now where do you put the list of lists?  ;)
