Why does LISTSERV keep track of addresses on the daily error monitoring
report when these addresses are not subscribed to the list?
We are seeing a lot of returned e-mail with forged FROM: lines that
contain a valid LISTSERV e-mail address. These returned e-mails are
then forwarded to the list owner and also kept track of in the daily
monitoring reports.
How are other sites dealing with these? The returned e-mails are
basically forwarded spam and the bogus monitoring reports contain so
many addresses that the report is useless to a list owner.
