The problem Siegfried is seeing is due to the list being locked multiple
times. This situation is in principle impossible but there used to be a bug
which could lead to it. If a list bears multiple lock indications, you need to
either unlock it until it is no longer locked or (if this does not work) remove
the lock indicator through other methods (we are helping Siegfried with that).
The Y2K problem in the lock indicator is innocuous, there is a fix but frankly
it is not worth applying if you have other things to do, you can mentally remove
the "1" when running listview on the file. The invalid date is only for human
information and is not re-used by LISTSERV.
