I don't know if the "feature" is fixed in Exchange, and I am not
questioning that is has been. What I would like to know is a foolproof
way to have people STOP attaching files to their posts, either without
their knowing, as with WINMAIL.DAT / RTF Format, or with their knowing
as with MIME format junk.
It's annoying, to say the least.
I have saved a copy of earlier posts to this list on what to do (but
feel free to restate that again, if it is the answer), and sent them on
to people with the problem. Despite that, even more advanced users have
had to go back to other mail systems because it just doesn't seem to
work (and I walked some of them through it, at my own expense).
I have set some people to REVIEW and have to manually edit their
messages before sending them to the list.
There HAS to be a better way.
