We have a problem with someone sending a chain letter to our lists
from [log in to unmask]  If I try to serve off this person
by:
serve [log in to unmask] off PW=xxxx
listserv replies with:
user as000037@YUORION served off
 
But, that isn't the correct addr.  I checked the logs and listserv
seems not to see the mail I sent with addr correctly.  I tried both
the MUAs we have (Pine and elm).  So, I thought I would try using
FILTER_ALSO in go.user, but I thought I would test it first using
my e-mail addr from another machine....and it doesn't work even if
I re-boot listserv after I make the entry to go.user.  I can still
sub from the apparently filtered email addr.
 
We are running listserv 1.8b...on unix.  Has anyone else had these
kinds of problems with 'serve' or 'FILTER_ALSO'?
