How do  you explain to the  end user that  mail he sent to  his colleague
(working on the same  computer) at 09:00 shows up as  having been sent at
10:00?  Telling him  that  the computer  must  be set  to  GMT is  likely
(especially if the said end-user is a  CEO or something) to result in the
machine being  dumped the next  year and replaced  with an array  of Un*x
playstations which "do not have to be set to GMT".
