They should also want to verify that all of the list-owners still exist
and accept responsibility for the operation of the list; that the WELCOME
nad FAREWELL files are up to date; that bounces are being "handled" in a
timely fashion.

That the people that are running those lists have up to date A/V software
and perform regular backups.
