Hi there,

since the migration to Listserv 1.8e and a new base installation of linux
and hardware, I find quite some entries in the log files stating the above
error codes when listserv is posting messages, in detail they look like
this for example:

2 Aug 2002 13:25:50 Mail posted via SMTP to [log in to unmask]
2 Aug 2002 13:27:11 >>> Error X'00B0002B' enqueuing mail for delivery <<<
2 Aug 2002 13:27:11  -> Severity: Error
2 Aug 2002 13:27:11  -> Facility: POSIX/unix error codes
2 Aug 2002 13:27:11  -> Abstract: Unspecified error (5) - See errno.h
2 Aug 2002 13:27:11  -> strerror: Input/output error
2 Aug 2002 13:27:11 Mail posted via SMTP to [log in to unmask]

Note the delay before the error occurs.
There are no error messages in the linux logs.

What do these error codes mean ?

The server is running SuSE 8, sendmail and has a software raid 0 mirrorset
with ext3 filesystem (if that should be of interest).

As in my last mail - thanks for any feedback in advance ! :-)

Greetings from Karlsruhe, Germany,

Daniel Zimmermann
