What percent of the time are people just doing a "click here to subscribe",
at which point it doesn't really matter?

And forget about "remember the subscribe address" - that's something they
will use *once*, it's not worth clogging up brain capacity.  If you want them
to *remember* something, get them to remember to save the welcome e-mail that
has all the useful info like how to post to the list and how to unsub....
