After our Internet link came back up this morning from a 14 hour outage I
noticed that LISTSERV managed to backlog MAILER by about 25 minutes, even
with my sending it LISTSERV CP SLEEP 3 MIN commands about 5 times.
I'm not normally one to complain about performance improvements... :-)
...but it looks like Eric has managed to speed up LISTSERV to the point
that it significantly outruns MAILER. When the line came up at 6am
this morning UIUC had 2500+ files waiting for KSUVM. About 7:30 UIUC had
cleared their queue and LISTSERV was ~300 files behind. By 8:00 LISTSERV
had finished and MAILER was 1600 files behind. While MAILER used to get
behind a little bit after such an outage, it was never anything close to
this bad.

Congrats, Eric. I think you done good. Do we now need another set of
OFFLINETHR sysvar values for MAILER?

Ohhhh, JJOOOOhhhhhnnn. Can was talk about MAILER performance? :-)
