I suggest the 'hide in plain view' method.  Tell them what they need to know to
do subscription mgmt and make them Quiet: Owner=  but don't tell them they are
owners.  If they are as clueless as you say, they won't figure it out.  If they
do then, they know enough to know they are owners.
