There are those who would hold that this use of multipart/alternative is
a crock, because either the plain and htlm parts are of identical content,
in which case the html is redundant, or the html expresses things that
are not in the plain version - at which point you should send ONLY the
html version to eliminate the possibility of only getting "half the message".

However, I do agree with your request - at least partly because by the
logic above, we should see *more* text/html as an top-level body part.
