I received a complaint from a list owner and verified a problem with the
redirect url on the login page after a subscriber tries to look at a list
archive.

When a subscriber who has not logged in, visits the archives page for
a list and clicks on a particular archive, they are redirected to the login
page. After logging in, they click on the "folow this link" url and get
an error stating the following-

"
 Error - invalid parameter

  An invalid parameter was passed to the CGI function. Please report

  this error to the webmaster and make sure to specify the full URL

  that led to this message.

"

It turns out that the "A1=" parameter name is getting dropped from the
"follow this link" url. After logging in, the "follow this link" url is
showing the following-



 http://listserv.uiuc.edu/wa.cgi?ind0504&L=listname

and it should show-

 http://listserv.uiuc.edu/wa.cgi?A1=ind0504&L=listname





This isn't a consistant problem either, as some other links off

the archives page seem to redirect ok after logging in. The search
archives link also seems to have a strange problem, but that's for
another time.

Is anyone else seeing this problem?
