Err, sorry if I have offended some of you ...
While re-genning the MAILER profile I checked the VMS-nodes and they have
TRUNCATE on their  exit, i.e. POSTMASTER will be truncated  by the MAILER
to POSTMAST and that can be sent  out. I should have looked in the tables
before writing the previous letters ...
