automated listserv process - corrupt logs

Hi,
We are having some difficulties with ListServ.  An automated process began at 11:00pm last night.  Here is a snippet of log file:

11 Mar 2012 23:00:05 File forwarded to LISTSERV@ØDØ@Ø@Ø@Ø@Ø@Ø@Ø@Ø@Ø@Ø@Ø@

Send mail cannot process the listserv emails now.  We have restarted both listserv and sendmail - did not solve problem.  It does not seem to be a disk full error.  Any ideas on how to fix?
