The problem that we ran into on AIX 4.3.3 with Listserv 1.8e is that it
wasn't processing .mail files that would accumulate in the spool
dir. Restarting listserv would show something like this in the log file:

4 Jun 2003 00:02:06 LISTSERV(R) for unix version 1.8e starting...
4 Jun 2003 00:02:06  Copyright L-Soft international 1986-2002
4 Jun 2003 00:02:06 Requeuing 532 mail files for delivery...
4 Jun 2003 00:03:07 >>> Error X'00B0005B' enqueuing mail for delivery <<<
4 Jun 2003 00:03:07  -> Severity: Error
4 Jun 2003 00:03:07  -> Facility: POSIX/unix error codes
4 Jun 2003 00:03:07  -> Abstract: Unspecified error (11) - See errno.h
4 Jun 2003 00:03:07  -> strerror: Resource temporarily unavailable
4 Jun 2003 00:03:07 -> 532 mail files left unprocessed.

Listserv eventually provided a fix (which was beta at the time) and the
problem went away. I am not sure if the fix made it into the current
version for AIX.
