I have a list which wants to use MIME, but the MIME header information
is being mutilated by LISTSERV. The "Content-Type:" line, when received
by LISTSERV, is 109 characters long:

Content-Type: MULTIPART/MIXED;
BOUNDARY="cobra.cc.purdue.edu:787952813:800522870:790560809:-1290615390"

(For the purpose of this posting, I split the real line into two lines
so that it would fit an 80-character display. In reality, there is
one space (and no line break) between "MIXED;" and "BOUNDARY".)

But when LISTSERV distributes the mail to the list, the "Content-Type:"
line is altered to appear as follows:

Content-Type: MULTIPART/MIXED;
              BOUNDARY="cobra.cc.purdue
              .edu:787953428:797901370:744947753:440452514"

Our MIME processor works when given the original 109-char line, but
fails when given the 3-line rearrangement. How do I tell LISTSERV to
leave this line alone; i.e., leave it as a single 109-char line?

We run LISTSERV 1.8a and LMAIL 1.2a with Netdata options turned on.
The list and its subscribers have FULLHDR set.
