I've had a strange incident with several of my larger lists and
AOL subscribers, namely, numerous AOL subscribers have appeared
on the auto-delete "Monitoring report" with error counts and
durations far exceeding my limits. None were ever deleted.

Before you jump to conclusions, I'm all too familiar with the
false alarm addresses (reported error address not being in the
subscriber list) but these WERE 100% MATCHES. I'm at a loss to
figure this one out. Errors from other sources are auto-del'ing
as they should. The returned errors are 550 Mailbox not found.

The only hypothesis I can offer is that all but one of the AOL
addresses that are failing are in mixed case (the username part).
This was one of the first times I have seen Listserv-parseable
AOL addresses appearing like this, so I presume they changed
their mailer. Is there a case sensitive issue here? I can't
think of another explanation, other than I've just had a very
extraordinary co-incidence.
