invalid entry in list

I've been getting the message:

  2 Apr 1997 16:02:38 From [log in to unmask]: get linguist
  >>> LSWLSTGN: Invalid entry in LINGUIST list, line 26
  >>> LSWLSTGN: data=PUT LINGUIST LIST


That's ok, since I could fix it when it sends me the list, BUT, it's
never actually sends the list to me.  Since this is on a listserv 1.8c,
I can't just edit the file.

What can I do to get it to send me this file?
