Confidential lists will not be listed. Neither will any lists if your
site is not Runmode=Standalone. The solution is to either use
Runmode=Standalone or to use the VISIBLE-LISTS template as described
in the Tech Tip from the latest newsletter:

http://www.lsoft.com/news/issue1-2005-us.asp

(Go to the LISTSERV Tech Tip and click on "MORE" to get the full
article).

By the way, if you aren't subscribed to the LISTSERV at Work
newsletter, I strongly recommend remedying that situation: that's the
best source of news on new releases, and it always includes at least
one tech tip, which generally highlight little-known but useful
features or techniques that are not necessarily documented in detail
in the formal manuals. (But by the way -- mea culpa -- I forgot to
mention the Runmode issue in this particular tech tip, sorry). Also,
the case studies are really great for showing how other organizations
use LISTSERV and can spark some ideas for your own site. Since the
newsletter is intended for existing customers, it's not full of
marketing/sales fluff: the idea is to help customers make the best
use of the product they have.

You don't have to take my word for it -- see the archives at
http://www.lsoft.com/news/n-archives-us.asp or
http://www.lsoft.com/news/n-archives-eu.asp (European version) and
see if you think subscribing would be beneficial to you.
