Jacob,

Thanks for your quick response to my question.

We have examined our listserv and SMTP error logs, and they contain no
information that tells us what causes the "Unrecognized command"
error. We can see that a post to a listserv on our listserv server is
sent to our SMTP server and relayed on to Google. The next thing we
see in our logs is that Google sent back an "Unrecognized command"
message indicating that it couldn't understand a command that our
listserv server sent to it. There is no trace in our logs of the
specific command Google is rejecting that listserv sends.

Do you know what kind of conditions would cause the "Unrecognized
command" error? Are there other L-Soft customers who use Google email
and listserv who have had experience with this problem?

Thank you.
