I simply use the Standard (free) editing of Mail Enable (mailenable.com) in
front of LISTSERV.  It includes several DNSRBLs like Spamcop, SpamhausZEN,
Barracuda, and you can register others.  It also will check both sender IPS
and URLs within the message against these RBLs.  You can also Block mail from
incoming domains not in DNS or lacking a PTR record.  Finally you can create
your own block list of IPs or ranges (for example I know I will never get any
legitimate mail from China so those /8 ranges are permanently blocked.  The
same ME instance also doubles as LISTSERV's outgoing mailer.  

YMMV but I find this combined with F-Secure A/V works very well for my server.
