This feature (or lack there of...) has created problems for us
as well. Our internal corporate email structure now uses a
hierachy of list to distribute email.

One thing that would fix the problem and make a lot of sense is
to have the distribution of email to subscribers of sublists
(ie. list A) follow the DEFAULT configurations for the parent
list (ie. list B) when a message is posted to list B.

So, if the default setting of list B is REPRO, then the poster
should get a copy of the email they posted.

It was my understanding that this (follow the default) functionality
would be implemented in the final 1.8d version. I don't know
whether it actually was or not because I we are still running
1.8d beta.

can someone at LSoft confirm whether this functionality has
been implemented in the final version?

Thanks.
