Instead of using the URL, access the ListServer using the tcpip address. This will help you understand the problem, dns or not?

Can you ping that server from your node?

Subject: Strange error

Hello,

I am in the process of setting up our LISTSERV system and I'm having a
problem with the web interface. I went to
http://listserv.ab.mec.edu/cgi-bin/wa.exe?GETPW1=ADMIN and successfully
registered a LISTSERV password. When I now go to the "Server Management
Interface" link, enter the email address and password that I just
registered, and click on "Login without setting a cookie", I get an error
stating that the page cannot be displayed. At the bottom of the error
text, it says "Cannot find server or DNS Error". I'm not sure how that can
be since the URL is obviously valid.

Am I missing something?
