The original reason for digest mode was so people didn't get 37 pieces of
mail in their inbox, one at a time, every 43 minutes.  Does this still have
any real value in a world where almost all sane MUA's support "filter all X to
folder Y" and the person can just check Y when they feel like it?

(Phrased differently - "What MUAs still need handholding of this level?")
