A list owner wants the "To:" address of postings to have the recipient's
E-mail address, rather than the list address.

He also wants to send multipart/alternative (text + HTML) messages to the
list.

It seems we must use DISTRIBUTE MAIL-MERGE to set the "To:" address as he
wishes. It also seems that we cannot use the web Mail Merge interface,
since it is not able to handle multipart messages.

Our current solution is to use a DISTRIBUTE MAIL-MERGE job, manually
creating the MIME headers necessary for multipart. Unfortunately this is
beyond the technical expertise of the list owner, so an administrator must
get involved.

Is there any way to set up a list so that the "To:" address is set to the
recipient?

Also, are there any plans to enhance the web Mail Merge interface to
support multipart/alternative messages?
