Paul, I'm curious about your "Outlook set up"...

When edited (by you, the list "approver") posting, originally authored
by someone else, appears on the list (is distributed to all subscribers),
what do the email header lines for the "From:" record show? Who is
the posting "from"? Is it from the original author, or from you (or
from some combination of the two of you)?

When you "approve" of the message that was sent to you for approval,
after you've edited that message, exactly how do you return that
message to the listserv (or list)? Do you send it to listserv with
the contents of the Subject line as listserv sent it to you (i.e., with
that special code in it), or with the original author's Subject line
content in your reply's Subject line? Do you "bounce" the message
to the list, perhaps (Does Outlook have a bounce function?)?

I'm just curious how this works, no in the ethical issue of whether
or not you edited a posting posted under someone else's id.

Peter
