We're looking for a way to collect rudimentary (!) stats on the number
of incoming messages based on the names of lists. The idea is to recommend
a USENET connection for some of the most active. I can scan the LISTSERV
consoles for our local lists, but not lists that we don't host.

Something like: LIST #local_users #number_messages/wk (or day, or mth)

Is there anyone who has had to do such a justification before, and found
a reasonably quick way to find this info? Am I overlooking something
fairly obvious? TIA for any information.
