I have  just finished  DISCARDING 16 more  error messages  from LISTSERV
because some of the network List Owners (this one was sf-lovers-request)
don't know or  care enough to use  the QUIET with DEL.  I  would like to
propose that QUIET be the default for  DEL since I would guess that over
90%  of the  time a  list owner  is DELeting  a userid  which no  longer
exists.
