Sorry to crosspost this to both LSTOWN-L and LSTSRV-L, but it is of
interest to both groups.

I am in the process of putting together a proposal for the Powers That Be
here for a LISTSERV conference (that I hope will become at least bi-annual
if not annual). The conference will cater to both list owners and
LISTSERV administrators and cover items such as dealing with spammers,
setting up an efficient LISTSERV server, how to deal with flame wars on
lists, etc. I have spoken to Eric, and he may be interested in L-soft
participating (depending on how it all works out).

As part of the proposal, I would like to indicate numbers of people
who would be interested in participating/attending such a conference.

So, for me to get a starting nose count, if you would be interested in
attending a conference of this sort (and stand a fair chance of actually
doing so), please reply via e-mail ([log in to unmask]). It
would also be helpful if you would include answers to the following:

............................................................................
Are you interested in the conference as:
  A) A LISTSERV list owner
  B) A LISTSERV administrator/maintainer
  C) Both A and B
  D) Other (please specify)

Would you be more likely to attend if the conference was:
  A) One day
  B) Two days

What month(s) would be the most convenient for you?

What do you think a reasonable registration fee for a LISTSERV conference
would be?

Please indicate any special topics you might like to see addressed at
the conference. (General topics, not specific questions, please.)

Your organization/affiliation:
............................................................................

Thank you!
