at would be the first editor but then my Postmaster (ASUACAD) sent me an extra
ct from the LISTKEYW MEMO which is forcing me now to think of other ways. I am
including the reply from my postmaster and another reply from one subscriber
to lstown-l.Is there anyway out of it????

I hadn't really encountered that before, but I checked the documentation
(LISTKEYW MEMO) and it says:

"Note that ANY editor can send mail to the list while only the FIRST will
receive copies of mail sent to the list"

It goes on to say:

"IMPORTANT NOTE: The editor MUST be a human person, not a file server, list
server, mailer, or suchlike. Specifying a program's mailbox as "Editor=" could
result in a mailing loop for which the author could not be held reponsible."

I guess that means you wil have to work around this software limitation.

The first idea that comes to mind is to create another private, confidential
list, say pakeditr, and point the first network address in the Editor= keyword
to it. On this second list, you would subscribe all the editors (who would
also appear on the beforementioned keyword on the original list). That way,
the letter would be sent to the primary "editor", which would really be the
list of all the editors.

Naturally, the first list would have to be also subscribed to the second, so
mail from it would be accepted and distributed. Also, since all the editors
would also be listed as such on the first list, they would be able to
reply (I suggest setting the Reply-to= keyword on the second list to point
to the first, so you could use the default reply option of your favorite
mailing software).

Since the second, editors, list would be private and confidential, nobody
would be the wiser about the arrangement.
