Hasn't there been any problem with the  beta-1.6a sites? I can't believe it. I
got  only one  bug report  associated  with the  DIST1 removal,  and 3  others
concerning minor bugs which were already there in 1.5o, like a missing 'upper'
in a PARSE in LSVADD. If nothing else  went wrong, I'm going to ship the final
1.6a tomorrow.
