I intentionally did not do a quiet for a couple of reasons. First, you
are manipulating a users entry I believe they have a right to know that
it is being done and by whom. Secondly, I have found that many people on
BITNET subscribe themselves through INTERBIT gateways for whatever
reasons. This shows the user how that was not correct. I have received
e-mail from people thanking me for correcting this as they were not
sure what they were doing. So, my intention was to clean things up as
well as educate. Beyond that, if you still wish to change it, you are
free to do so. I would prefer NOT changing LSVMAINT to do QUIET changes.
As for the lower-case .bitnet -- I think this is a bug and should be
fixed (Harry, you want to do it?) if it has not been fixed already.
