Perhaps these users are forwarding their Earthlink mail to another mailbox and so have not authenticated into their Earthlink accounts for a while.

Recently, earthlink members on several of my lists began generating the
following error
...Due to extended inactivity new mail is not currently being accepted
for this mailbox.
Is anyone else receiving these. The users are active on their
respective lists, which means that they are not being 'inactive' in
their earthlink mailbox. This began a couple of weeks ago and has not
yet resolved.
Is this earthlink cryptology for a full mailbox?
