It appears that the software on  LISTSERV@BITNIC is now suspect. I have spoken
with Eric and we  both agree that it is time to reinstall  LISTSERV and I will
be doing it since the NIC folks are down in D.C. The whole situation is rather
unfortunate considering its a no win situation. I guess we could point fingers
and do some name calling -- but that  serves no purpose, time to grin and bear
(sp?) it and put things back together. So, hang in there...
 
Oh, and if I were to point any fingers it would *NOT* be at any of the current
NIC staff (just to be clear).
